About Us

Founded by a researcher with international exposure, Josy Consults is a research and consultancy firm based in the heart of Kampala, Uganda. The company is comprised of professionals who know the Why, Who, How and When of market and social research in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Specializing in field and tab, we also conduct end-to-end research on a needs basis.

Legal Status

Incorporated as number 80010001014072; the company is limited by shares and operating under the company laws of Uganda.

Uganda

We have research field teams spread across all regions of Uganda. Endowed with a multiplicity of local languages, we reach remote areas in the country.

Sub-Saharan Africa

Josy Consults has implementation partners in other Sub-Saharan African countries like Tanzania, Rwanda, DRC, Burundi, South Sudan among others where it currently does not have physical offices. We partner with agencies that strictly follow research ethical and fieldwork standards to ensure uniform implementation and quality. These agencies are periodically audited to ensure standards are always maintained or superseded.

Meet the CEO

John Kavuma Founder & CEO

A researcher by profession with over 16 years of experience in the market research industry, having previously worked with one of the leading global research companies and had been stationed in Uganda and Tanzania respectively. He specializes in operations and project management. Equipped with project management training from South Africa and Kenya, John has also widely traveled and worked in other Sub-Saharan African countries namely; Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zambia, South Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). John is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with the University of Roehampton, London.
